JUST OUR LUCK…

Would a phone call not have sufficed????? Did our so-called President really have to spend part of our national budget paying for flight tickets, hotel accommodation and party favours for him and all his “official” mates? Come on now.
This trip to South Africa is not a good look for President Goodluck Jonathan. I wanted to keep an open mind, but I am no longer confident in his abilities to contribute to getting Nigeria where it needs to be if this is how he launches his run. Nuh uhn.
PS: My brother should REALLY play for the Super Eagles. His presence alone would greatly improve the overall success of the team-I am so sure of it! Love you bro!
Can somebody please tell me why the President of Nigeria Goodluck Jonathan (due to serendipitously (and somewhat tragic) placed events and not necessarily merit…) carried himself and some of the nations senators, governors and ministers (and of course you know the friends, aids-and if the wives aren’t going we all know the groupies and girlfriends are!) to South Africa????? And all under the grace of “support” of our boys in the Super eagles!!!!! REALLY DUDE????
If these so-called officials really wanted to support him then perhaps they should have helped them be better prepared? Better organized? As the national football team of Nigeria??? As usual the boys were assembled at such short notice before their first match that barely gave them time to know each other not to talk of actual training and conditioning. I am so over this! If Nigeria took better care of our football players in terms of guidance, funding and preparation we would do so much better in these sporting events. Scratch that even, if Nigeria took better care of its citizens we wouldn’t be losing most of our talent to Western Capitalist Crusading nations! If I see another Igbo name at the back of an offshore sports jersey-I think I’ll quench!
